We had intended to stop a few places on the way up, but it didn't turn out that way. We pretty much drove straight to Monterey, stopping to eat along the way. We got to Monterey about 7:30pm and then headed to Bubba Gump for dinner.

Road Trip
Today we started our road trip to Northern CA. We took the scenic route up Highway 1, so the drive took longer than expected. It was a nice ride, along the coast. We drove through all of the familiar beach towns like Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach, Santa Monica, etc. We even passed by two Duke's restaurants; one in Huntington Beach and one in Malibu. I was tempted to stop, but it wasn't time to eat.
