New Years Eve

We make a quick stop at Home Depot today to pick up some more cabinets for the garage. The kids love to help;)

Then, we partied at Legoland to ring in 2015!

Indian Canyons

Today we went on an awesome hike at Indian Canyons on the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation. It was a little chilly, but we warmed up as soon as we started hiking.

 

After our hike we drove by to take at look at this place called Big League Dreams, a baseball field with replicas of MLB fields. They were closed today, but Jason walked around and took some pictures of Fenway Park, Wrigley Field, and Yankee Stadium. Apparently they have fields in several CA locations as well as AZ and NV. http://www.bigleaguedreams.com/

Our last stop was the Palm Springs Air Museum.

We came home to this package on our porch. It's a New Year's gift from our vet for being such loyal clients;)

Joshua Tree

Today we crossed another National Park off the list. We drove about an hour from Palm Springs to Joshua Tree National Park, which is right outside of 29 Palms (where there is a military base). We stopped at a visitor's center on the way in. The kids picked up their Jr. Ranger booklets. We did three small nature hikes (Cap Rock, Keys View, and Skull Rock. On the way out, we stopped at a different visitor's center. The kids took their Jr. Ranger oath and received the badges. We had a great time!

On the way home, we tried out a new place for dinner. We all had the ribs at Babe's BBQ. They even had boneless ribs for me:) The food was delicious!

The kids have been begging to go swimming in the pool. Even though it is freezing, they jumped in for a few minutes (it's heated).
