Island Warrior Football

Zachary decided he wanted to play for Island Warriors this season too. It was a cold, rainy day so a lot of players didn't show up. There were only 4 flag players there. Zachary looked like the best player! He had a lot of fun.

Mardi Gras

Today we participated in the Mardi Gras Run. The kids race was first this time. They ran a short kids dash. Kailani finished in 3rd place. This was the first year of the race, so there weren't that many people overall.

I ran the 10K. I was going for a personal record of less than 1 hour, but the course wasn't labeled well enough and I ended up getting off course. I ended up on the 15K path and finished the race with 7.5 miles. Apparently the police department moved some signs and messed a lot of people up. I was on track to meet my goal and probably would have finished in less than an hour.

Color Fun Fest

Tonight we went to the color fun fest and ran a 5K. At certain points during the run, volunteers threw out color powder. The kids had a blast!

Disney...here we come!

Our Disney trip is booked and our magic bands are ordered! We are very excited to spend a week at Disney World with Becky, George, and the kids in July.
