Wonder Run

Today we ran the Wonder Run virtual run. We signed up online and ran on our own time. It was a 4-mile run, but we did 6 miles because we're training for the rock n roll half marathon in June.

Girl Scout Sleepover

Kristin has been promising the girls in our Girl Scout troop a sleepover for a few years. We were finally able to get the girls together. We met up on Friday night for dinner. The girls wanted a pasta bar. They worked on their night owl badge. We finished the night with Smore's by the fire pit.

Saturday morning, the girls ate a big breakfast. Then, we headed to the Reuben H Fleet Science center for a badge workshop to earn the secret agent badge.

Girls Nights

We've had a few girl's nights over the last few days. A few of us met up for drinks at Savoie (our new place because of Martini Mondays).

We got together to see the move I Feel Pretty.
 

Then, we celebrated Arlene's first gold medal in Olympic lifting. Martini (an mojito) Mondays!

ACT Military 10K

Today we ran a 10K to support military families with children who have autism. We have a lot of fun when we run!

Tonight we celebrated Elva's birthday with corsets and salsa dancing.

Encore

This weekend Kailani's cheer team competed in the Encore competition at the San Diego convention center. The girls did awesome. After the first day, they were in 1st place. Unfortunately, a small mistake move them down to 2nd place for the final placement. They also got a spotlight award for best choreography for the whole competition! Next stop...Vegas!

Hawaii Ohana

One of our friends from Hawaii was visiting San Diego, so we took advantage of the opportunity to meet up. Christy, Lisa, and I all met in Hawaii in 2001/2002. Christy and her family are now living in Washington. Lisa now lives in San Diego. We met up at the Corvette Diner with the kids. Unfortunately, Kailani had to go to cheer practice.

 

Rebel Dads Brew Class and Rebel Moms Gender Reveal

Today a few of the Rebel Dads got together to celebrate Paul's birthday. They took a beginner brew master class at Ballast Point Brewery.

While the guys brewed some beer, the ladies celebrated Karla's gender reveal. We found out she's having another boy (her third). It was my first gender reveal party. That seems to be the new thing!

Wing Scouts

This morning I dropped Kailani and Kaia off at the USS Midway for a Wing Scouts, a Girl Scout event. The USS Midway partnered with Southwest Airlines to teach girls about careers in aviation.

After I dropped the girls off, I met up with some friends for a run downtown.

We visited some friends who were volunteering at Ragnar for the Run Away team.

We stopped by the old jail on our way out.

Unicorn Party

Tonight we celebrated Tawny's birthday with a unicorn party.
