Half a Dozen

I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but we now have half a dozen cats....6!! About a month ago, our vet called us to ask if we wanted a kitten. She rescued a mommy cat and her 3 babies from the shelter, and they needed good homes. She was calling people she knew would be great pet parents. At that time, the vet left a message. I didn't call back because we already had plenty of pets.

Well...fast forward another month...she called back to let us know that there were still 2 cats left (mommy and baby). She was about to take them to a rescue group and wanted us to come see them. That was it! The kids fell in love, and wanted both. Kailani said we couldn't take one without the other.
