Historic Bethlehem

Today we didn't really have any plans, so we decided to walk around Bethlehem. We started at the library so the kids could see the big candles. We walked up and down Main Street looking at the different buildings. We also took a tour of the Historic Bethlehem buildings. We went into the blacksmith and he told the kids a little about what his job was like many years ago. We just spent some time taking in the scenery that is quite different from San Diego.

 After that, we headed over to the old Bethlehem Steel, which has now been converted into the Sands Casino. We walked around the outlets and visited the Peeps store. We went to The Stacks to visit the PBS station (we thought the peeps Big Bird was there), but they weren't open.

On the way back to Becky's we stopped by the Just Born factory for a picture with the Peeps VW Bug.

Tonight, we met up with Megan and Brandy for dinner. We hadn't seen Brandy since she and Megan came to CA for a visit in 2006! It was great to catch up with some old friends.
